Since its founding in 1982, Neptune Research Inc. has been engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of a patented resin impregnated fiberglass cloth which provides an effective, time and cost efficient solution for the repair and corrosion protection of pipes, pipelines, pilings and similar structures. NRI products are used throughout the world and serve a broad range of markets including industrial, marine, oil and gas, municipalities, mining and utilities.
NRI focuses its development and manufacturing efforts on products for remedial repairs of defects and anomalies in pipelines. Traditional methods for pipe repair included de-pressurizing, shutting down production and replacing pipelines which proved to be costly and time consuming. With help from NRI, organizations operating in the marine, oil, gas and water industries can protect pipelines in jeopardy of a catastrophic failure due to wall thickness erosion and external or internal corrosion.
